Terms & Conditions

1. Submission Requirements

• Scripts must be submitted as a single PDF document. Pitch decks and other presentation materials must also be submitted in PDF format.
• Projects may be submitted individually or as part of a team. Multiple projects may be submitted, provided that each project is submitted separately.
• Video or audio material accompanying a submission may be provided digitally, with the download link included in the Additional Information section of the Submission Form.
• Book adaptations will only be accepted with an official Letter of Intent (LOI) from the relevant rights holder.

2. Rights and Originality

By submitting a project, you confirm that the material is your original work, or that you have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to submit it, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

You remain solely responsible for any claims or disputes relating to the ownership, authorship or rights associated with your submission.

3. Storage, Review and Communication

By submitting a project, you authorize Green Olive Films to receive, store, access and review your submission for the purpose of evaluating it and considering potential development, production or collaboration.

Submission does not transfer ownership or copyright in your material to Green Olive Films. Any further use, development or exploitation of a project will be subject to a separate agreement.

By submitting a project, you also agree that Green Olive Films may contact you by email regarding your submission, including in relation to its evaluation, requests for additional information, its outcome, or potential development or collaboration.

4. Evaluation

Green Olive Films receives a significant volume of submissions and the evaluation process may take several weeks or months.

Green Olive Films will contact applicants where a submission is considered to be of interest and potentially suitable for further discussion or development. Submission does not guarantee that an applicant will be contacted.

Green Olive Films does not provide script coverage, feedback or evaluation notes. All decisions are final, and the Company is not obliged to provide reasons for its decisions or enter into further correspondence regarding the evaluation process.

5. Similar Submissions

Green Olive Films may independently receive or develop material that is similar to or contains elements similar to a submitted project. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for similarities between a submission and material independently received, developed, commissioned or produced, provided that such material was not derived from the submitted project in breach of the entrant’s rights.

6. Artificial Intelligence

Green Olive Films does not accept scripts or other creative submissions that have been substantively created or developed using generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

7. Disqualification and Amendments

Green Olive Films reserves the right to reject or disqualify submissions that breach these Terms & Conditions, contain inaccurate or misleading information, infringe third-party rights, or otherwise conflict with the Company’s policies or submission requirements.

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions and to modify, suspend or discontinue the submission platform or its evaluation process. Any changes will be published on the official Green Olive Films website.

8. Privacy and Acceptance

Personal information submitted through the platform will be processed in accordance with the Green Olive Films Privacy Policy.

By submitting a project, you confirm that you have the legal capacity and authority to make the submission and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
